Need to send e-invoices to other countries? You may encounter a few problems while doing so. Ever since the European directive (2014/55 / EU) stipulated that all contracting authorities are required to receive and process e-invoices by the end of 2018 it is no longer sufficient to send PDF files by e-mail.
This new regulation is already enforced in several countries, such as Germany, France, Sweden, Finland, Croatia, Belgium, the Netherlands and many more (see full list here).

Below you will find examples of e-invoice formats. If, for example, you are a German company that needs to send an e-invoice to the Italian government, you need to send FatturaPA invoices.
Germany, however, has a different e-invoicing standard, the ZUGFeRD. This forces the German company to find a way to also create FatturaPA invoices, even though most German systems don't cr, This causes them to lose time and perhaps even money.
