E-invoicing in France

Starting from September 2026, e-invoicing will become mandatory for all B2B transactions between VAT-registered entities in France. Businesses will need to comply with Factur-X, UBL, or CII formats while transmitting invoices through a government-approved service provider (PDP).

  • September 1, 2026: Large and mid-sized enterprises are required to issue electronic invoices and comply with e-reporting obligations.
  • September 1, 2027: Small and medium-sized enterprises must begin issuing electronic invoices and adhere to e-reporting requirements.

Storecove is preparing to be a certified PDP to help businesses comply with France’s new e-invoicing requirements. Our platform enables e-invoice transmission through Factur-X, UBL, and CII, ensuring compliance with French regulations.

Get started today by requesting a test account or schedule a consult with one of our e-invoicing experts to guide you through the process.

Features

Certified PDP

Storecove is preparing to be a government-certified Plateforme de Dématérialisation Partenaire (PDP), ensuring full regulatory compliance for businesses operating in France.

Format Support

With Factur-X, UBL, and CII format support, we automate invoice validation, submission, and tracking, reducing manual workload and errors.

Multi-Network

Unlike many PDPs that focus solely on domestic compliance, we connect businesses to multiple networks, including Peppol, DBNAlliance, Finvoice and other global frameworks.

Compliance

What is a PDP?

A Plateforme de Dématérialisation Partenaire (PDP) is a certified service provider authorized by the French tax authorities to facilitate e-invoice exchange and reporting.

PDPs ensure compliance with the regulations while offering enhanced capabilities such as invoice validation, automated workflows, and ERP integration.

To prepare, Storecove is actively working toward becoming ‘PDP Ready’ (Spring 2025) and earning the certification needed to achieve full compliance.

Cross-border transactions

How can we help?

For cross-border transactions, e-invoicing remains optional; however, alternative networks like Peppol can support international compliance.

With the upcoming EU ViDA regulations, cross-border e-invoicing will soon become mandatory, and we’re ready to support “ViDA-compliant” invoicing.

If the invoice recipient is outside of France, our globalization service ensures e-invoices are delivered worldwide in the correct format for each recipient.

With our extensive format support, senders can rely on us to handle these cross-border complexities.
