Meet Geronimo Pattiata: Helping Businesses Navigate E-Invoicing Across Europe

As Storecove continues expanding across international markets, building strong relationships with customers remains a critical part of that growth. Working closely with businesses across Europe, Geronimo Pattiata helps organizations understand how e-invoicing fits into their operations while supporting them throughout their compliance journey.

As part of our Meet the Team series, we sat down with Geronimo to learn more about his role, what motivates him, and how he has helped shape Storecove's approach to sales and customer engagement.

Supporting Customers Across Europe

Geronimo is responsible for a large portion of Storecove's European market, working with organizations throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, the Nordic region, and Eastern Europe.

His territory includes countries such as Sweden, Norway, Finland, Portugal, and Slovakia, giving him a broad perspective on the different challenges businesses face as e-invoicing requirements continue expanding across the region.

Because every market is evolving at its own pace, Geronimo spends much of his time helping organizations understand how current and upcoming compliance requirements fit into their broader business objectives.

"The conversations are never exactly the same," he explained. "Every customer has different goals, different systems, and different requirements."

From Enterprise Sales to Storecove

Before joining Storecove, Geronimo worked for Verizon, one of the world's largest telecommunications companies. While he gained valuable experience working within a large corporate environment, one of the things he appreciates most about Storecove is the accessibility of the team and the direct communication throughout the organization.

At Storecove, collaboration happens quickly. Ideas move fast, conversations are direct, and employees have access to leadership in a way that is difficult to replicate within larger organizations.

Geronimo highlighted the ability to communicate directly with leadership, including CEO Patrick Steenkist, as a unique aspect of working at Storecove.

Helping Transform Storecove's Sales Approach

One of Geronimo's most significant contributions has been helping evolve Storecove's sales strategy.

Drawing on lessons learned during his time in enterprise sales, he introduced elements of what he describes as a more "American" approach to selling. The focus shifted toward fostering more value-based conversations with customers and positioning solutions around business outcomes rather than simply product features.

The results were substantial. By applying these strategies, Storecove was able to significantly increase average contract values while maintaining the same core product offering.

For Geronimo, this experience demonstrated the importance of continually refining processes and challenging traditional approaches.

"It showed what can happen when you focus on value and truly understand what customers are trying to achieve," he said.

A Standout Project

When asked about the most memorable project he has worked on at Storecove, Geronimo immediately pointed to the Mövenpick Hotel deal. The project marked an important milestone in his time at the company and remains one of his proudest accomplishments.

Large projects like this often require close collaboration across teams, strong customer relationships, and a deep understanding of both business needs and technical requirements.Successfully bringing those elements together is one of the aspects of sales that Geronimo enjoys most.

Family-Oriented, Fast-Growing, and Cozy

When asked to describe Storecove's culture, Geronimo chose three words: family-oriented, fast-growing, and cozy.

Although Storecove continues to expand internationally, he believes the company has maintained a close-knit culture where colleagues genuinely know and support one another. Many employees work together across projects, spend time together outside of work, and share experiences that strengthen those relationships.

At the same time, Storecove's rapid growth creates new opportunities, new challenges, and an exciting environment for employees who enjoy building something together.

Life Beyond Storecove

Outside of work, Geronimo enjoys staying active through padel and dedicates time to several personal business ventures. Travel is another major passion.

When discussing some of his favorite destinations, he highlighted Thailand, Colombia, Sydney, and Dubai. Among them, Dubai stands out as his top choice thanks to its cleanliness, international atmosphere, and accessibility.

His interest in international markets extends beyond travel. Given the opportunity to swap roles with another colleague for a day, Geronimo expressed curiosity about working in Asia and exploring opportunities in emerging markets such as Dubai, so Aaron Sutha was the natural choice.

What Drives Him

While many people focus on the outcome of a successful sale, Geronimo is motivated by the process itself. He enjoys building relationships, understanding business challenges, and working with organizations to find solutions that support their growth.

That combination of strategy, communication, and problem-solving continues to make every deal unique.

As Storecove expands across Europe and beyond, professionals like Geronimo help ensure businesses have the guidance and support they need to navigate an increasingly complex compliance landscape.

Looking Ahead

Storecove's growth is driven not only by technology, but by the people who help businesses understand how to use it effectively. Through his work with customers across Europe, his contributions to Storecove's commercial strategy, and his commitment to building strong relationships, Geronimo continues to play an important role in the company's success.

We're grateful to have him on the team and look forward to seeing what new opportunities and markets he helps Storecove reach in the future.
