Meet Wiebe: A Friendly Face Behind the Support Team

Meet Wiebe

Meet Wiebe de Vries, one of the friendly faces behind Storecove’s Support team.

Although he has only been with Storecove for a few months, Wiebe has already become an important resource for customers navigating the world of e-invoicing. His role centers around helping users troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and gain confidence using the Storecove platform.

Before joining Storecove, Wiebe spent four years working in ICT, supporting organizations across a variety of industries, including insurance, steel, and healthcare. That experience gave him a strong technical foundation, but what ultimately drew him to Storecove was the opportunity to work directly with customers and help them succeed.

Helping Customers Every Day

As part of Storecove’s Support team, no two days are exactly alike. Whether it’s answering customer questions, resolving technical issues, or helping users better understand the platform, Wiebe enjoys being the person customers can rely on when they need assistance.

His biggest challenge since joining Storecove has been learning the company’s proprietary software language.

“There’s always something new to learn,” he shared. “Understanding the platform in depth has been my biggest challenge, but it’s also been one of the most rewarding parts of the job.”

For Wiebe, the best part is seeing a customer go from feeling frustrated or confused to successfully solving their problem.

“My motivation is helping customers who may not fully understand the Storecove principles and guiding them toward a successful outcome.”

A Flexible and Supportive Workplace

When asked what stands out most about working at Storecove, Wiebe immediately mentioned the team culture.

While everyone is responsible for managing their own workload, he appreciates the flexibility and trust that comes with the role.

“It’s a calm environment where everyone is supportive and willing to help each other.”

That collaborative atmosphere has made joining a new company much easier, especially while learning new systems and processes.

Three Words to Describe Storecove

If Wiebe had to describe Storecove in just three words, he would choose:

Warmth. Growing. Motivating.

For him, those words reflect both the people and the company itself. Storecove continues to grow, creating new opportunities for employees while maintaining a welcoming environment where people support one another and work toward shared goals.

More Than Tech

Outside of Storecove, Wiebe has a wide range of hobbies.

He enjoys windsurfing, motocross, and autocross, but one passion has been part of his life for even longer: music.

For more than 35 years, Wiebe has worked as a DJ, performing at festivals around the world and even coordinating events for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger at the company’s headquarters in Amsterdam.

It’s a creative side that many people may not expect from someone working in technical support, but it’s one he has enjoyed for decades.

If He Could Swap Roles…

If Wiebe could trade places with another member of the Storecove team for a day, he’d choose Dolf.

His reason is simple.

“Dolf has so much experience and knowledge about how everything works,” Wiebe explained. “He’s also someone who’s easy to talk to.”

For Wiebe, it would be a great opportunity to learn from someone with a deep understanding of both the platform and the business.

Getting to Know the People Behind Storecove

Storecove is powered by people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and interests, and Wiebe is a great example of that. Whether he’s helping customers navigate technical challenges, spending time with his family, catching the wind while windsurfing, or DJing at events, he brings enthusiasm and a willingness to help wherever he goes.

As Storecove continues to grow, employees like Wiebe help ensure that every customer has the support they need to make the most of the platform.
