Storecove ISO 27001 Certified

As of June 2020, Storecove has officially been awarded the ISO 27001 Certification, the most widely adopted information security standard that provides a framework for information security management best practices.

The ISO Certification guarantees that Storecove follows a systematic approach to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of customer information and actively reduces information security risks.

It underlines our commitment to keep our customers data in a secure and confidential manner, and, in doing so, we protect sensitive information and the privacy of our customer.

To officially put this into practice, we have set up rules for the handling of information, ICT-assets, and the exchange of information. As Storecove underwent an in-depth risk-assessment that reviewed all our information security policies, these safety rules are based on the results of the most recent risk assessments, dependency analysis and classification of information.

What is ISO 27001?

SO/IEC 27001 is an international standard on how to manage information security. The standard was originally published jointly by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC) in 2005 and then revised in 2013.

It details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS) – the aim of which is to help organizations make the information assets they hold more secure.

A European update of the standard was published in 2017. Organizations that meet the standard's requirements can choose to be certified by an accredited certification body following successful completion of an audit.
