Romania

Since 1 July 2022, taxpayers have to adhere to the following:

  • For B2G transactions: Romanian taxpayers have to issue e-invoices on the RO e-Factura platform
  • For B2B transactions: Taxpayers trading in high-risk fiscal products have to exchange e-invoices through the national RO e-Factura platform. 
  • In 2023, working in the Ro e-Factura platform will become mandatory for all public procurements made in Romania.
