The U.S. Open Exchange Framework

The Digital Business Network Alliance (DBNAlliance) launched an open exchange network to safely exchange e-invoices and other supply chain documents. Similar to the PEPPOL network in Europe, this network enables a secure and efficient exchange of B2B e-invoices and e-documents for companies in the United States.

Once connected, you can reach all participants and all participants can reach you. Join the new open exchange network for a secure and efficient exchange of B2B documents in the United States.

How it works

Currently the B2B payments industry in the United States is severely challenged by inefficient and costly manual processes. That’s why the DBNAlliance, with support from various industry bodies, has recently launched its own open exchange network.

This network, similar to the Peppol e-invoicing network, enables a secure and efficient exchange of B2B e-invoices and e-documents for companies in the United States.

API Connection

Connecting to DBNAlliance and other networks

  1. First off, connecting with the Storecove API means that you will be connected to all DBNAlliance participants.
  2. Secondly, with Storecove as your access point, you will automatically connect to the PEPPOL network (Europe, Singapore, Australia, Japan and New Zealand) and other global e-invoicing networks, which activates an instant global connectivity.
  3. Lastly, you will be able to send and receive e-invoices (and orders) in the right format, which immediately makes your business compliant with local tax authorities.

If you wish to connect your business or software to DBNAlliance, you can build a simple integration with our RESTful API. Click here to test the API in Sandbox mode.

Standardized Global Identifiers

Last month, the U.S. open exchange network introduced standardized company identifiers per country. Companies across the globe now have the capability to send and receive e-invoices upon establishing connectivity to a DBNAlliance access point.

This development is particularly valuable for companies with customers, suppliers, and subsidiaries based in the United States. However, it also holds significance for any company seeking to leverage an advanced open exchange network, regardless of their location.
