Storecove Expands into the UAE: Strengthening Our Commitment to the Gulf's Digital Future
The Middle East is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting regions in the global e-invoicing landscape.
Governments across the Gulf are accelerating digital transformation initiatives, modernizing tax systems, and investing heavily in technologies that improve transparency, interoperability, and operational efficiency. As businesses prepare for the next generation of compliance requirements, the need for scalable, future-ready e-invoicing solutions continues to grow.
At Storecove, we've long believed that supporting global compliance requires more than simply connecting businesses to today's requirements. It means anticipating where markets are heading, investing in the regions driving innovation, and building the local presence needed to support customers for years to come.
That's why we're excited to announce another major milestone in Storecove's global growth.
Storecove has officially established a legal entity in the United Arab Emirates, marking an important step in expanding our presence across the Gulf region and reinforcing our long-term commitment to supporting businesses as digital invoicing continues to evolve throughout the Middle East.
Why the UAE?
The United Arab Emirates has become one of the world's leading centers for innovation, technology, and international business.
Over the past several years, the country has invested significantly in digital transformation across both the public and private sectors. From smart government initiatives to rapidly evolving financial technologies, the UAE has positioned itself as a leader in creating a modern digital economy. That same forward-thinking approach is now extending into e-invoicing.
As governments throughout the Gulf continue to explore digital tax reporting and structured electronic invoicing, businesses are beginning to prepare for a future in which automation, interoperability, and standardized data exchange become the norm. For organizations operating internationally, this shift presents both opportunities and challenges. Businesses need partners that not only understand global compliance but are actively investing in the regions where these changes are taking place.
Establishing a presence in the UAE is an important part of Storecove's strategy to do exactly that.
A Foundation for Long-Term Growth
Our newly established legal entity is based within the Meydan Free Zone, one of the UAE's leading business hubs. While we are currently completing the final stages of tax registration, establishing our local entity represents far more than opening an office.
It demonstrates Storecove's commitment to becoming an active participant in the Gulf's rapidly evolving digital ecosystem. Having a regional presence allows us to better understand local market needs, strengthen relationships with partners and customers, and continue building solutions that align with the direction governments across the Gulf are taking. As e-invoicing initiatives continue to mature, we're excited to grow alongside them.
The Gulf's E-Invoicing Journey Is Just Beginning
Across Europe, many countries have already implemented mandatory e-invoicing or digital reporting requirements.
Now, attention is increasingly turning toward the Gulf. Countries throughout the region are taking important steps toward digitalizing tax administration, improving transparency, and creating more efficient methods for exchanging invoice data. Rather than relying on disconnected manual processes or paper-based documentation, governments are embracing digital technologies that simplify compliance while improving the quality and accessibility of financial information. Although each country will follow its own implementation timeline and regulatory framework, the overall direction is becoming increasingly clear.
Digital invoicing is no longer viewed simply as a compliance initiative.
It is becoming a fundamental component of broader digital transformation strategies.
Businesses that begin preparing today will be better positioned as new requirements continue to emerge throughout the region.
Supporting Businesses Through Every Stage
One of Storecove's core principles has always been making global e-invoicing simpler.
As organizations expand into new markets, they often face the challenge of navigating multiple compliance frameworks, varying technical specifications, and changing regulatory requirements.
Our goal is to remove that complexity.
Storecove enables businesses to maintain their existing workflows while connecting to global e-invoicing networks and tax authority platforms through a single integration. By supporting more than 30 countries and continuing to expand our global footprint, we help organizations build compliance strategies that scale alongside their business.
As the Gulf region continues introducing new initiatives, businesses will increasingly benefit from infrastructure designed to adapt as regulations evolve.
Building Local Expertise
Expanding internationally isn't only about establishing a legal presence. It's also about investing in people. Storecove expects to welcome a dedicated Gulf Region Lead by the end of the third quarter of 2026. This new role will strengthen our ability to support customers throughout the region while helping us build deeper relationships within the local e-invoicing ecosystem.
Until then, our experienced global team will continue supporting early market expansion remotely, ensuring organizations throughout the Gulf have access to Storecove's expertise from day one. As our regional team grows, so will our ability to provide local knowledge backed by global experience.
Advancing Toward ASP Accreditation
Another important milestone on our roadmap is achieving Access Point Service Provider (ASP) accreditation.
Our engineering team is currently working toward a target completion date of August 2026, further strengthening Storecove's capabilities as e-invoicing initiatives continue developing throughout the region. Accreditation represents another step in our ongoing commitment to delivering reliable, scalable solutions that support businesses as regulatory landscapes evolve.
It also reflects our continued investment in ensuring customers have access to the connectivity and infrastructure needed for long-term success.
Expanding Beyond the UAE
While the UAE represents an exciting new chapter for Storecove, it is only the beginning of our Gulf strategy. In addition to establishing our presence in the UAE, we are preparing for a partner-led expansion into Oman, further extending our reach throughout the region.
This broader strategy reflects our belief that businesses operating across the Gulf will increasingly benefit from working with providers capable of supporting multiple jurisdictions through a unified approach. As digital transformation continues accelerating across the Middle East, we remain committed to growing alongside our customers.
Looking Ahead
The establishment of our UAE entity represents much more than geographic expansion.
It reflects Storecove's continued investment in the future of global e-invoicing. As governments throughout the Gulf continue to modernize tax systems and develop digital compliance initiatives, businesses need solutions that can evolve with these changes.
We're excited about what lies ahead and look forward to continuing our journey with customers, partners, and businesses throughout the Middle East as we help shape the next chapter of global e-invoicing together.
