Meet the Team: Srosh Yazdani

There isn’t really one job description that perfectly sums up what Srosh Yazdani does at Storecove, and that’s actually one of the most interesting parts of his story. Srosh joined Storecove as a working student alongside his studies, initially supporting the sales team with client emails and other day-to-day tasks. Since then, his role has continued to grow and change. He has taken on financial responsibilities, started working with contracts, and become involved in a variety of smaller projects across the company. It has given him the chance to experience several different sides of Storecove while figuring out where his own strengths and interests fit along the way.

That variety also means that no two days necessarily look the same. Srosh might be working through a contract one day and helping solve an entirely different problem the next. For someone who genuinely enjoys finding solutions, that’s a pretty good fit.

Growing With Storecove

When Srosh first started at Storecove, most of his work centered around sales. He supported the team with client communication and helped wherever he was needed, giving him an early look at how Storecove works with customers. Over time, however, he began picking up responsibilities outside of sales. Financial tasks came next, followed by his current work with contracts.

Rather than following one straight path, his experience has allowed him to learn by doing. Each new responsibility has introduced him to another part of how the company operates, while working alongside his studies has given him the opportunity to apply what he is learning in a real business environment.

That willingness to jump into different projects also connects closely with what motivates him. Srosh likes having a problem in front of him and figuring out how to solve it. He describes himself as a bit of a perfectionist, which means he isn’t necessarily satisfied with simply getting something done. He likes reaching the point where the pieces actually fit together, and the problem feels properly solved.

It’s also reflected in how he describes Storecove itself. When asked what comes to mind when he thinks about the company, Srosh pointed to its diversity and its focus on finding solutions. With colleagues from different backgrounds working across different areas of the business, there is rarely only one perspective in the room. For Srosh, that makes it an environment where people can work through problems together rather than simply sticking to one way of doing things.

The People Make the Difference

For all the different projects he has gotten to work on, Srosh’s favorite thing about Storecove is much simpler: the people.

He particularly enjoys being at Storecove’s headquarters because of the everyday interactions that happen naturally when the team is together. Sometimes it’s as simple as walking past someone’s desk, stopping to talk, and ending up in a completely unexpected conversation. Those small moments are a big part of what makes the atmosphere at Storecove stand out to him.

It also means that while his responsibilities might change, he is constantly surrounded by people he can learn from. As a working student, that has become an important part of his experience. He isn’t only getting exposure to sales, finance, contracts, and the e-invoicing industry; he is getting to see how people across the company approach their own roles and solve problems in different ways.

From Contracts to 3D Printing

Interestingly, Srosh’s interest in problem-solving doesn’t disappear when the workday ends. Outside of Storecove, one of his biggest interests is 3D printing, a hobby he picked up around two years ago.

A lot of what he prints is practical. If he needs a laptop stand, a custom placeholder, or some other small gadget, there’s a good chance he’ll see whether he can make it himself. What starts as an everyday inconvenience can quickly become a new 3D printing project. It’s creative, but there’s also a familiar process behind it: identify something that could work better, figure out a solution, and then actually build it.

That same curiosity came through when we asked him whose Storecove role he would take over for a day if he had the chance. His answer was Dolf Kars.

Part of the reason is Dolf’s relationships with Storecove’s customers. Some of those relationships have been built over many years, and Srosh would be interested in seeing what it’s like to maintain those long-term connections and understand how they develop as both Storecove and its customers grow.

There is, however, another benefit to swapping places with Dolf.

Dolf spends quite a bit of time at the beach.

Srosh loves the beach. So that certainly didn’t hurt his decision.

Still Learning, Still Solving

Srosh may have joined Storecove to work alongside his studies, but his experience has already taken him through several different parts of the company. What began with helping the sales team has expanded into finance, contracts, and whatever new project happens to land on his desk next.

That’s part of what makes his story such a good reflection of the team behind Storecove. Not everyone follows the same path or works on the same problems. People bring different backgrounds, interests, skills, and perspectives to the company, and sometimes the best way to discover where you fit is simply to keep trying new things.

For Srosh, that means there will probably always be another problem waiting to be solved, whether it’s at Storecove or sitting next to his 3D printer at home.
