Meet Aaron Sutha: Supporting Global E-Invoicing Growth Across APAC

As global e-invoicing adoption continues expanding across APAC and beyond, businesses are increasingly looking for partners that can help simplify compliance while supporting long-term international growth. For Aaron Sutha, those conversations are what make the work especially meaningful.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Aaron supports Storecove's global product operations and business development across the APAC region. With nearly two decades of experience in the e-invoicing industry, his role combines technical expertise, operational strategy, and customer-focused problem-solving to help businesses navigate an increasingly complex digital compliance landscape.

Building Storecove’s Presence Across APAC

One of the defining milestones in Aaron’s career came when he served as the Senior Technical Advisor for Malaysia’s national e-invoicing rollout. Being involved in such a large-scale initiative gave him firsthand insight into the operational and technical challenges businesses face as countries modernize their invoicing infrastructure and digital reporting requirements.

At Storecove, Aaron has helped lead the company’s expansion throughout the Asia-Pacific region while also contributing to operational efficiency within the product and development space. His work focuses on helping businesses scale internationally without adding unnecessary complexity to their compliance processes.

A Product Built To Simplify Complexity

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Storecove, Aaron immediately points to both the people and the product itself.

Storecove’s international team, made up of employees from multiple cultures and nationalities, creates a highly collaborative environment that reflects the company’s global reach. At the same time, Aaron appreciates being part of a company that actively helps customers simplify increasingly complicated compliance requirements across different markets and regulatory frameworks.

That simplicity is also what Aaron believes makes Storecove stand out within the industry. When asked to describe Storecove in three words, Aaron said:

"Storecove is inclusive, adaptable, and innovative"

For Aaron, one of Storecove’s biggest differentiators is its lean product philosophy. Rather than overwhelming customers with bloated systems and unnecessary functionality, Storecove focuses on connecting businesses only to the services and infrastructure they actually need. This allows organizations to scale globally while keeping compliance operations far more manageable.

Supporting Customer Growth Across Multiple Markets

One customer story that stands out to Aaron is Pacific Tech, a company originally based in Australia that partnered with Storecove for operations there before expanding internationally.

Over the last two years, Pacific Tech has grown into additional markets, including New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Poland, and France, using Storecove’s infrastructure. For Aaron, this success story represents exactly what scalable interoperability and e-invoicing infrastructure should enable — giving businesses the confidence to expand into new international markets knowing they have the right support behind them.

Helping customers find solutions that truly fit their needs is one of the most rewarding parts of Aaron’s role. Rather than pushing unnecessary complexity, he enjoys helping organizations realize that global compliance can become significantly more manageable with the right infrastructure and long-term strategy in place.

Staying Motivated In A Rapidly Evolving Industry

After nearly 18 years in the e-invoicing space, Aaron remains motivated by the opportunity to engage in meaningful, constructive conversations about the future of digital compliance and interoperability.

He enjoys working within an industry that is constantly evolving and values the opportunity to contribute expertise that genuinely helps businesses navigate increasingly complex regulatory environments. Simplifying those conversations while supporting customers through digital transformation initiatives is something he finds especially rewarding.

Outside Of Work

Outside of the e-invoicing world, Aaron describes himself as someone who constantly rotates through new hobbies every six to twelve months. At the moment, that passion is carpentry, where he has been spending time building furniture and exploring more hands-on creative projects.

When asked which role at Storecove he would swap into for a day, Aaron pointed toward the technical side of the business. Rather than choosing a more traditional executive role, he shared that he would be most interested in stepping into CTO Michael Rivera’s position to better understand how Storecove’s architecture is built behind the scenes and how the platform continues evolving globally.

Looking Ahead

As businesses continue expanding internationally and governments accelerate digital compliance initiatives, Aaron remains focused on helping organizations simplify global e-invoicing operations while building scalable strategies for the future.

Through a combination of technical expertise, operational insight, and customer-focused problem-solving, Aaron continues to support Storecove’s growth across APAC and beyond, one market at a time.
